Visitors can enjoy a weekend of falconry, soldiers and civilians at Fishbourne Roman Palace this weekend.

There will be opportunities to see birds of prey in action, find out more about daily life in Roman Britain and watch arena displays.

And there will be plenty of hands-on activities around the site for children of all ages,

Head of learning Katrina Burton said: ‘This is a great opportunity to get an insight into all levels of life at Fishbourne nearly 2,000 years ago – from the wealthy palace owner enjoying a day’s hunting with hawks, to the local legionaries in training for battle.’
