THE popular Love Southsea markets have returned to the Square Tower, in Old Portsmouth.

Shoppers can now pick up a range of locally made items from small antiques and boutique products to stunning jewellery and vintage clothing at the markets.

A wide variety of stalls will set up at each event, held on the first and second Sunday of every month.

And a stylish tearoom will offer hot drinks and cakes and snacks in old fashion vintage crockery.

As well as picking up a unique bargain, visitors will also have the chance to enjoy one of Portsmouth’s oldest buildings.

There will also be a face painter at each event to keep the kids entertained, and limited edition Love Southsea merchandise will be available to purchase.

The event aims to support the community, local businesses and historic sites of Portsmouth City.

The first market of 2012 was held yesterday, and the next is on Sunday. Open 11am to 3pm.
