A SCHOOLGIRL has secured a second BBC leading role, this time in Doctor Who.
Daniella Eames, of Cavendish Close, Chichester, will soon be seen on our television screens as a featured role in the programme, starring Matt Smith.
Daniella, 13, who attends the Theatre Workshop at Bishop Luffa School, will also appear alongside Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill in the new series of Doctor Who.
Lora Munro, creative director at The Theatre Workshop, said: ‘Daniella is a gifted actress who really loves to perform.
‘This is a great opportunity for her and we are all really excited Daniella will be gracing our television screens very soon.
‘I am sure this is another step towards an successful career for Daniella as an actress. She has a real magic about her when she performs and is a real inspiration for her fellow students.’
Daniella, a pupil at Chatsmore High School, in Worthing, has been attending the Theatre Workshop since she was 10 years old.
This is not her first taste of television success – she also appeared in Sadie J for CBBC, and has had a stint in Billy Elliot in the West End.
