A FLOOD alert is in place for Fareham for high tide this morning.

The Environment Agency has issued the alert fro the Fareham to Portchester coastal area for high tide at 11.30am.

A further flood alert is in place on the River Meon, from Mislingford to Titchfield Haven

The River Meon has been at a high level since before Christmas following heavy rainfall.

Further flooding is expected over the next couple of days, especially in Titchfield and the Millennium Water Meadows in Wickham.
