This charming and popular pub is on the main Havant Road in Hayling Island, close to Yew Tree Road.

At one time there were thought to be many yew trees in the area but the only yew present today grows in the pub’s grounds, close to the children’s play area.

The pub dates back to at least the mid 1800s and its name is from the 1860s.
