Pam Wilkins, from Fratton, on why Portsmouth should be awarded the City of Football title and earn £1.6m from Sport England

I think Portsmouth is already the City of Football but it would be great to have Sport England agree.

Not only did the city come together to buy its football club they are currently raising funds for the academy so they too have a home to train and develop within.

After only six weeks we’ve raised over £180,000 towards our £250,000 target.

A truly amazing achievement.
