Sean Greens, of Portsmouth, on why Portsmouth should be awarded the City of Football title and be granted £1.6m by Sport England.

‘I go to Pompey matches all the time at Fratton Park and there is nothing better for atmosphere and enthusiasm.

‘I have lived here in the city all my life and support the city of Portsmouth as well as the football team.

‘Pompey is the city of football.

‘To win the title City of Football along with the grant of £1.6m from Sports England to help with grassroots football would show the world that we deserve the title.’
