Tammy Kent has an exciting week planned with Tammy’s One Stop Party Shop and her daughter Lacey-Love

Excitement is overwhelming this week at Tammy’s One Stop Party Shop, as not only does my daughter, Lacey-Love turn 18 but it is also Safer Gosport’s last You Decide event.

Lacey-Love is Gosport’s Youth Citizen and was voted as overall winner earlier this year after being nominated by me.

She is a very helpful girl who often sings around the Gosport area for various charities and in many local pubs including The New Inn, Green Dragon and The WPM Sports & Social Club.

She has three sisters and two brothers and has helped me overcome some serious issues over the last few years, while battling her own demons including depression, IBS and recently being admitted to hospital after having a debilitating hemiplegic migraine while at college.

She always has time for friends and has recently enjoyed learning to crotchet with Hazel Doughty at Tammy’s One Stop Party Shop.

I would like to wish her a very happy birthday.

This Saturday the Thorngate Halls will come alive with the final You Decide funding day where Gosport residents can vote and decide where £10,000 will be spent.

Fourteen groups from Gosport, including Tammy’s One Stop Party Shop, have all got into the final stages and stand a chance of winning a share of the money!

Each group will have to do a presentation explaining why they deserve a share of the money and what they will be doing with it.

Pre-booking is not essential and you can just turn up on the day but spaces are not guaranteed.

I hope to see you all there please make your vote count!
