A CAR crash has led to one death and three teenagers needing hospital treatment.

The incident happened at 6.45am yesterday morning on the A285 Halnaker, near Chichester.

The group was travelling in a silver Vauxhall Corsa when it lost control.

One female occupant died at the scene. She has been named as 16-year-old Jasmine Elkamsi, from Bognor.

A 17-year-old male from Chichester and two 16-year-old girls from Bognor were taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Witnesses should call 101, quoting Operation Tamworth. Police are keen to find the driver of a small black car which is believed to have been in the vicinity of the fatal road traffic collision.
