A WOMAN was freed from her car after a crash.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue were called to help South Central Ambulance Service in the incident on Bartons Road.

Firefighters from Havant station attended the scene between two vehicles on the road at around 11am.

Two engines and a senior officer went to the accident to help free the woman from her car which took around 30 minutes.

The women in her 20’s was then taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham to be treated for neck injuries.

A child from the other vehicle involved in the incident was also taken to the QA to be treated.
