EMERGENCY services were called to Tesco in Fareham to negotiate with a teenage girl on the roof of the store.
Two fire engines, several police cars and an ambulance went to the scene and cordoned off the store car park.
The 17-year-old was deaf and police called in a sign language interpreter to communicate with her at around 6pm.
The teenager agreed to come down from the roof at 7.15pm and suffered minor injuries as she moved on to stairs at the side of the building.
She was taken to hospital as a precaution. Poilce are yet to confirm if the girl will face charges.
Inspector Sean Duffy said: ‘The young woman came down voluntarily – she climbed down but then decided to jump the last six feet.
‘An officer saw her fall and went over.
‘She was taken to hospital as a precaution.’
Tesco declined to comment.
