THESE three ladies are having a of a great time as they knit and chat about life.
The trio are part of ‘Knit and Natter’ a group of 22 women who meet up to knit cardigans, hats and other clothes at Portchester Library every Monday, except bank holidays.
And the group, which meets between 1.30pm and 3pm, does its fair share for good causes. Just before Christmas the team knitted little mice for rescue animals at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, in London.
The group has gone down a storm since it began two years ago.
Knit and Natter member Sheila Emm, 54, said: ‘It’s nice for ladies to get out and have a social life.
‘A lot of people who use the library notice us and stop by for a chat. Our group contains people from all walks of life.’
