CHILDREN had fun hunting for clues that would lead them to chocolate eggs.

An Easter egg hunt took place in Park Wood, Cowplain, yesterday.

It was organised by Jackie Buckley, of Friends of Park Wood.

She said: ‘We had about 30 families take part and it was really good.

‘We want people to visit the woods.’

Nikki Thundercliffe, 40, and her husband Lee, 41, of Cyprus Crescent, Lovedean, brought their children Dexter, nine, and Layna, five, along.

Layna said: ‘They gave us maps and codes that we had to match up.

‘When you did that you got an egg.

‘We were the first ones to get an egg, it was exciting.’
