Youngsters pass martial arts black belt test

FOUR martial arts pupils have undergone a two-hour test to earn black belts.

Daniel Boh, 10, Joshua Boh, 13, Reece Blackmore, 15, and Harry Wyatt, 15 faced the test at Jason Boh’s School Of Martial Arts in Quartremaine Road, Copnor.

The four earned the belts in Jeet Kune Do, the art and philosophy of the late Bruce Lee.

Their sensei – which means teacher – Jason Boh, said he was proud of his pupils.

He said: ‘These are our first Junior Black Belts at the school and we are all very proud of them.

‘Black belts are not awarded lightly.’
