Have your say

YOUNG people have been asked to have their say on policing and crime.

The Big Conversation consultation is being run by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Youth Commission and will be used to help shape services for young people.

Youth Commission member Louis Faith, 22, said: ‘If you’re a young person and feel like you aren’t being heard, tell us what you think about crime and policing.

‘It’s easy to get involved and make a real change in our communities.

‘We want to hear all your views, positive or negative, because your views are important.’

Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Hayes said: ‘Some young people might feel like they aren’t heard, but the commission wants to listen to them.’

The consultation runs until December 22. Find it online at youthcommission.co.uk.

Anyone aged between 14 and 25 can become a member of the commission. Call 01962 871 595 for more information.
