Built by the Romans Havant Rd is a natural route between Havant & Horndean. When are the council, most of whom don't cycle, going to build the cycle routes there to prewvent this kind of injury. How many near fatal accidents or fatalities will it take before they wake up to reality?

Agree with need for cycle routes, but the accident was actually on the A3 Portsmouth Road, outside the entrance to the Premier Inn; I was eating in the Red Lion at the time and we were told that it might be six hours before we could get out of the car park! Fortunately it didn't happen - hope the cyclist makes a full recovery.
