A daughter is crying out for help to make her mother's 90th surprise birthday party a success after the entertainer she had booked pulled out at the last minute.
The woman, who does not want to be named in case it spoils the surprise, is desperately trying to find a replacement act for the big day on December 12.

She said: 'We just need someone that's very jolly and can sing to some elderly people in a care home.'

She is looking for someone to spend the afternoon singing wartime songs at a care home to the west of Chichester.

Anyone who can spare time to sing songs by artists like Vera Lynn on December 12 should call 07792 424477.
