A new NHS therapy service for people suffering from mild to moderate depression and anxiety is being launched on Wednesday.
Talking Change will offer help to people with common mental health problems such as anxiety and panic, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Portsmouth City Teaching Primary Care Trust and Portsmouth City Council have set up the service, which will be run by psychologists, cognitive behaviour therapists and psychological practitioners.

It is available to anyone over 18 who is registered with a Portsmouth GP and will offer individual or group meetings, and sessions over the phone or via computer.

Self referral packs are available from GP surgeries or can be downloaded from talkingchange.org.uk.

For more information call (023) 9289 2920.
