Mums were pampered with facials and manicures to make them feel glamorous for the festive period.
Cumberland Children's Centre in Portsmouth held its first pamper day for Mums who attend the centre.

The concept was put together by Candice King, a yogabugs instructor who works with the centre to provide yoga sessions for the children.

Candice and other independent businesses offered their services free of charge.

Treatments on offer included reiki, nail art, hairdressing, mini facials and hand massages. Two lucky parents not only enjoyed an afternoon of pampering but received free trial packs of aloe vera products.

Centre co-ordinator Vikki Farndell said: 'Candice approached me about the event and I thought it was a wonderful opportunity to treat the mums that use our centre. They spend so much time looking after their children that it is nice for them to be looked after.'
