A CAR-themed maths challenge has put the wheels in motion for two school pupils.
James Cochran and Andrew Rich, Year 9, students at Bay House School, Gosport, won the National Jaguar Cars Maths in Motion Challenge after competing in a car-calculation final.

The boys had to design a car and make all of the calculations for the track and the day's weather conditions.

The pair started 13th but as the race progressed came closer to the finish line and finished first in their age range – and second overall.

The pair received a trophy and an array of prizes both for themselves and for their school.
