Police are examining CCTV footage that may hold clues about the double murder.
Footage showing three men in the Premier Convenience Store in Whitworth Road at 1.50pm on the day before the stabbing has been taken by officers for examination.
The men were captured on tape buying food and drink from the shop, which is less than half a mile from the scene of the crime.
A worker in the shop contacted police about the footage after seeing a man being arrested a few hundred yards from the shop yesterday.
Zankhana Amin, one of the ownesr of the shop, said: 'She had a chat
with the police and they have come and taken the
CCTV away.'
