NEW parking meters will be installed in car parks across Havant this week.

Drivers will have the option to pay for parking using debit or credit cards, including contactless payment, and also with coins.

Havant Borough Council will install 46 machines across car parks in the borough.

The borough’s deputy leader, Cllr Tony Briggs, said: ‘These modern, up-to-date meters are great as it means that residents won’t need to rifle through their pockets looking for change to park in our car parks.’
