Young drivers will be able to test their skills behind the wheel at the next
Autotest event to be run by East Hampshire District Council.

Held on April 17, at
the council offices car park in, Penns Place, Petersfield, the event gives young people the chance to challenge themselves on the track.

Autotest is all about precision, rather than speed, with the participants asked to negotiate a tricky track that will test their control of the vehicle.

It is organised in partnership between Southsea Motor Club and EHDC.

The event sees more than 20 young people take part, between the ages of 14 and 21 years old.

Anyone keen to take part should get in touch with Chris Phillips, of the Southsea Motor Club.

They can email chris_n_p@hotmail.com or phone (023) 9245 5541.

Another Autotest event is also being planned for July.

Those who do not get in for the April event will be given priority for the July event.
