DOZENS of pensioners slipped into their Easter best for a community party.

More than 60 people joined Fareham Lions Club’s annual Easter bonanza.

This year’s festivities were held inside the Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club, in Palmerston Drive, Fareham.

People from across Fareham and Portchester were joined by the deputy mayor of Fareham, Councillor Geoff Fazackerley and the deputy mayoress Tina Fazackerley at the occasion.

Activities included bingo, singing an Easter bonnet parade and afternoon tea.

Fareham Lions Club president, Rob Armstrong-Collett was delighted by the day and said: ‘The party was a wonderful afternoon and lovely to see everyone smiling and joining in with the entertainment.’
