Firefighters called to Portchester car fire
FIREFIGHTERS have put out a car fire in Portchester.
Two appliances from Fareham Fire Station and a rapid support vehicle from Cosham Fire Station were sent to The Ridgeway just after 4.30pm this evening.
Officers have now tackled the blaze. The car was a Jaguar which caught fire when being rolled out by the driver.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: ‘We were called to The Ridgeway at 4.36pm.
‘The Jaguar caught fire when being rolled out.’
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
