Would-be gardeners
can attend a free event organised by Fareham Borough Council.

The gardeners fair on Saturday, May 14 will take place in West Street from 9am-3pm, and will feature a variety
of stalls selling gardening goods.

People can also get expert advice from Hambrooks Garden Centre, speak to the Streetscene team about recycling and learn how to keep wildlife in your garden with the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

There will be fun activities for families, including making willow decorations for your garden and children can also decorate their own flowerpot and take it home.

Executive Member for leisure and community, Cllr Sue Bell said: ‘The gardeners fair is the ideal way to not only support local businesses, but it is also a great at getting adults and children interested in gardening and their environment. Why not come along and join in the fun?’
