POLICE are looking for owners after a large number of stolen ornaments were recovered from a van in Fareham.

A 42-year-old man was arrested on April 12 on suspicion of handling stolen goods and has since been bailed until Monday, June 20 pending further enquiries.

The ornaments – including the one pictured – have been unclaimed ever since and residents are now asked to head to Wickham Community Centre in Mill Lane, Wickham tomorrow morning between 9am and 1pm to claim them.

Those who believe the ornaments to be theirs are asked to bring proof, such as a photo of them in a garden.

The items are suspected to have been stolen from gardens across the south of Hampshire.
