MP learns the benefit of lottery funding in borough

AN MP has learned the impact that funding has had in her constituency.

Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage attended an event in parliament to see how much Heritage Lottery Funding has benefitted the borough.

Gosport has benefited from nearly £10m in lottery funding since 1995, with money being used to support a wide range of projects such as Heritage Open Days, and the town is ranked as seventh in England by the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts’ Heritage Index for its heritage.
