Sailing adventure up for grabs in Gosport

Gosport Marine Scene has opened the opportunity to teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17.

The eight lucky winners will be on board Discovery for a week, learning about working in a team at sea.

Secretary Peter Cardy said: ‘This is a terrific opportunity; we ran the Gosport Marine Futures event last year and two of the youngsters that came along are now ambassadors for the Marine Scene.

‘It is a great chance to experience life at sea and we think they will have a brilliant time.’
