Three call-outs for busy lifeboat crew

A WOMAN was helped to safety after suffering head injures in a fall.

The woman was rescued by the Coastguard and firefighters after falling down rocks at Port Solent on Saturday night.

Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service was also called.

The Gafirs team was called to children in mud off Hardway, Gosport, on Friday – but discovered they were adults trying to reach a yacht.

And on July 6 at midnight the coastguard was called to reports of a man in the water in Stokes Bay. Two members of the public helped him to safety.
