Prizes and trophies were presented by mayor of Havant, Councillor Faith Ponsonby, who praised both those who worked for the show and the exhibitors.
I send apologies to all that I haven’t mentioned, but it’s hard to praise everybody, the group effort is so great.
However, I mustn’t forget show recorder, Gill Swift, and her assistant, Lesley Tyrrell, who did a fantastic job with entries and results.
Thanks also go to Norman Newton for the tombola, June Kemp and her catering teams, Eve Osborne and Carole Jones on the plant stall – and all the fantastic plant contributors – and John Lark who plans the hall layout.
And, last but not least, thank you to show manager Tim Speller who keeps us all in order.
