Firefighters battle A27 car fire near Havant

The incident happened on the westbound carriageway at Havant and the slip road is currently closed.Â

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene of the incident on the road this afternoon.Â

Pictures show the car has been consumed by flames and firefighters battling the blaze.Â

Hants Road Policing tweeted: '˜Car fire westbound on slip for the A27 at Havant. Slip road currently closed. All persons safe.'Â

The car has been '˜100% destroyed' by the fire Hants Fire Control have said on Twitter.Â
