CHILDREN had a special assembly to learn more about Blue Day.

The pupils at Moorings Way Infant School in Milton wore blue and learnt about the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.

Rachel Thripp, Year 2 teacher at the school, led the assembly.

She said: ‘It’s important for us as a school because it’s a local charity.

‘There are so many charities that we can support but we feel that this is the important one. It’s nice that we do it every year.’
