STAFF at Tesco Express in Goldsmith Avenue turned blue today.

The team at the store close to Fratton Park dressed in blue and they are organising a raffle which will be drawn by Tom’s mum Adele after Pompey’s match against Northampton tomorrow.

Staff have also been shaking buckets and encouraging customers to make donations.

Deputy manager Alan Harris said: ‘I have supported Blue Day before. The family only live around the corner so they come in all the time.

‘It’s a good local charity so we wanted to support it.’
