Fairtrade fortnight starts today and will be celebrated across the area with special events.

Tomorrow there is a coffee morning at Havant URC in Elm Lane, from 10am-midday.

On Wednesday there is a bumper day of events.

Enjoy a Fairtrade breakfast and coffee morning at St Mary’s Church Hall in Church Road, Hayling Island from 8.45am to midday.

Stalls, samples and activities will be on offer from 9am-4pm at the University of Portsmouth Students’ Union

Julio Mercado Cantillo, a banana producer from Colombia will talk about his experience.

The Lord Mayor’s coffee morning is at Portsmouth Guildhall from 10am-midday.
