Fun. Inspiring. Community. Uplifting. Life-changing!

These are just some of the words that people have used to describe their experience at the Gateway Conference, a faith-based conference hosted at City Life Church, Portsmouth, and open to all.

Whether you class yourself as a strong believer, a believer who’s perhaps lost their way, or someone seeking answers to the meaning of life, this weekend aims to encourage you on your journey.

The conference happens from March 18-20, with sessions from Friday through till Sunday night.

It is now in its third year and has attracted over 400 people, 40 churches and a lot of attention through social media.

It’s been so amazing to see the conference grow and attract people from across the south coast and surrounding areas.

Many lives have been transformed and friendships have formed through the weekend.

Gateway provides an environment where people can learn about the many benefits of having faith, an opportunity to network other believers and seekers, as well as experience something different.

There’ll be a live band with great upbeat music, motivational speakers from around the UK and oversees.

Many of those who come from a non-church background are surprised at the friendliness of the community, the vision to make a positive impact in our city and the contemporary approach that is used to aid people engaging with faith.

I’d love to take this opportunity to invite you to be part of what’s going to be a fantastic weekend!

Are you not sure yet? Why not come and get a taster on the Friday evening when Gateway officially launches?

If you like it, then you can sign up for the Saturday.

General tickets cost £18, students, senior citizens and unemployed tickets are £13.

There is also a free children’s conference on the Saturday running from 9.30am until 5pm with special guests Olly and Helen Goldenberg from childrencan.co.uk.

All children must be registered prior to the event to attend the conference.

You can book tickets at GatewayConference.org.uk or by popping in to City Life Church office on Tangier Road. I hope to see you there!
