OWNERS of an Indian Restaurant which was shut down by a health inspector over the weekend are to appear in court over a separate alleged breach of standards.

Rimjhin, in Boardwalk, Port Solent, was closed after inspectors discovered evidence of a cockroach infestation on Friday.

And tomorrow, the restaurant will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court in relation to separate offences which date back earlier this year.

The Port Solent eatery was awarded the TripAdvisor ‘Award of Excellence’ in 2012, 2013 and 2014, was closed to customers yesterday with a sign in the window explaining the closure.
