SCHOOLCHILDREN have been given the opportunity to design an MP’s first ever Christmas card in the role.

Stephen Morgan, Portsmouth South MP, has written to schools across the constituency asking headteachers to get students involved.

The theme for the competition is Christmas in Portsmouth with an expert judging panel to choose the final designs and prizes for both the winner and the runner-up.

Mr Morgan said: ‘I am really excited to be able to use one of your fantastic designs for my card this year. I cannot wait to see the brilliant designs you come up with.’

Submissions must be in by November 24. Contact stephen.morgan.mp@parliament.uk for more info.
