Forecasters are predicting a mild start to the week for Portsmouth.

The Met Office forecast for today is: ‘A cooler, wetter day than Saturday, with occasionally heavy rain making very slow and erratic progress eastwards. Perhaps becoming drier and brighter in the far west by dusk. Maximum Temperature 14C.’

But things improve in the outlook for Monday to Wednesday: ‘Mainly dry and mild, with light winds and some sunny spells expected throughout, perhaps interrupted by a little rain overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.’
