IT NEVER feels like Christmas until the famous red Coca-Cola Christmas truck comes on our television screens.

But this year, TV is the only place people in Portsmouth will see it, unless you take a trip to Southampton.

Tour dates confirm the lorry it will not stop in the city this year, but will visit Southampton on November 30.

Portsmouth also missed out on the truck last year.

Instead it stopped in Winchester.

The truck’s UK tour will start on November 17, visiting 44 locations across the country. Visitors will be able to get a photo with the truck, enjoy a winter wonderland experience and try a free sample of Coca-Cola Zero.

Marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain Aedamar Howlett said: ‘Coca-Cola is synonymous with the Christmas season and it’s no secret that our much-loved Christmas Truck Tour marks the unofficial countdown to Christmas.’

The truck last visited Portsmouth in 2013 when it stopped at Guildhall Square.
