Hospice summer fete

The Rowans Hospice's annual summer fete will take place next month to raise vital funds for the charity.

The event will be held on Sunday, September 4 from 1pm to 4pm at Lakeside North Harbour, Cosham.

Entertainment will include music, dancing and a dog show and more than 50 stalls with homemade produce, crafts, games, competitions and also a display of vintage cars.

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth David Fuller will officially open the event.

Other highlights include The Rowans Hospice grand summer draw with a first prize of £1,000 plus lots of other prizes.

Eliza Dunn, from The Rowans Hospice, said: ‘This event is a lovely day out for all the family and, come rain or shine, the atmosphere is amazing.’

Entry to the summer fete is free and there is organised car parking.
