Police launch knife amnesty in Portsmouth after spike in drug-related knife crime

A city council report shows the locations in Portsmouth where most penalty charge notifications are issued to drivers.

The statistics come from the council’s parking service annual report for 2015-16.

The report published earlier this year revealed that more than 43,000 PCNs were issued in the city during the year, a rise of almost 6,000 on the 2014-15 figure.

Traffic officials say enforcement officers will be spending more time patrolling city streets after changes to parking arrangements in some car parks.
