A mum is desperate for news of her son who has not been seen for three days.

Liam Coombes, 22, vanished from his home in Kirby Road, Portsmouth, on Tuesday.

His mother Penny posted a picture of him on Facebook asking people to share it in the hope that he can be traced.

She posted a message saying: ‘I’m not overreacting or being a drama queen I know my son and something isn’t right, I just need to know he’s ok.’

Hampshire police said they have active lines of enquiries to find Mr Coombes.

This includes monitoring social media use in a bid to find him.

Call police on 101 with information or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Mrs Coombes said her son was wearing grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a grey jumper , blue Adidas trainers, a burgundy and blue jacket and an Adidas beanie type hat.
