COUPLES are wanted to appear in the new series of Sky1’s Don’t Tell The Bride.

Producers are looking for couples in Portsmouth who are planning their wedding day and would like to apply for the programme.

The format of the series sees couples given £14,000 to spend on their wedding day.

Although, there’s a catch.

The series puts the plans firmly in the hands of the groom, who is given a month to take control and plan the whole occasion with his bride none the wiser.

Previous series have seen some extravagant weddings take place in venues such as ex-classrooms and bumper cars at a fun fair.

A spokeswoman for the show said: ‘We are looking for applications for Don’t Tell The Bride from the Portsmouth area and are looking anyone who would be interested in the programme.

‘It would be great to hear from couples who may like £14,000 to plan their day.’
