RESIDENTS can find out more about becoming a foster carer.

An event for people to learn more about the role is taking place at the Spinnaker Tower on Wednesday, May 25, from 7pm to 9pm.

Entry is free. It is a chance to find out how to help children and young people who need a safe, stable environment while difficulties at home are addressed. There will also be the opportunity to chat to current foster carers and social workers.
