They honoured those who paid the supreme sacrifice - and all those who served or are serving - in comment on our Facebook page as we broadcast live coverage of the Armistice Day service at the war memorial in Portsmouth’s Guildhall Square yesterday.

Candy Warren: My grandad was a Dessert Rat in WWll and I still remember with great respect also to many others who never made it home. RIP to the many fallen Ray Sheppard: We are forever in the debt of our brave veterans for our freedom. Let’s never forget and always respect them.
