A MAN has been given a suspended 12-month jail sentence for making indecent images of children.

William Carter, 33, of Quinton Close, Somers Town, was given the sentence at Guildford Crown Court yesterday morning for six counts of making the images.

His sentence is suspended for nine months.

As part of his sentence he will also undertake 60 sessions of sex offender treatment.

Carter will also be on the sex offenders’ register for 10 
years.
