In 1692 Dorothy Good was the youngest child to be accused of witchcraft aged just 4 years old. While her mother was executed for being a witch, Dorothy remained in prison for 9 months while her father raised the bond to release her. The effects of imprisonment on
such a young child were too great, Dorothy was later declared insane.
