TWO STUDENTS were rescued after being trapped in a lift yesterday.

A man and a woman were assisted by firefighters at around 3.15pm in the Unite Students flats in Greetham Street, Southsea after there was a fault in the lift’s system.

An appliance from Southsea and one from Cosham attending the incident and the two students were rescued after half an hour.
