Take in some history on waterfront stroll in Lee-on-the-Solent

WALKERS are being invited to learn more about the heritage of Lee-on-the-Solent as part of a historic waterfront stroll.

The trek is on Tuesday, May 2, and begins from at Elmore car park, in Marine Parade East, at 10am. Lasting about 90 minutes, it will see trekkers learning more about various parts of Lee-on-the-Solent, from the Browndown Ranges and local railways, to the area’s links with the RAF at Daedalus.

The event is being staged by the Lee Residents’ Association.
